Dear Abby, 

My name is Romeo and I am in love with a beautiful girl called Juliet. From the moment I laid my eyes on her I new she was the one for me, we were meant for each other. I first met Juliet at a Capulet party and I am not a Capulet, I am a Montague. Our family’s are enemies and hate each other. We are forbidden to have a relationship together or there would be severe punishments. I don’t want to betray my family but i just love this beautiful girl so much. What should I do? Shall I tell my family whats going on or shall I give up Juliet who means the world to me even though we have only known each other for one night.

Dear Romeo,

I can see how you have got yourself into a tricky situation. If you have only known this girl for only one night I think you should try and meet another girl, maybe go to a party and see who’s there, you might find another beautiful woman. You never know. If your families hatred for each other is as bad as you say it is then I would advise you not to tell them about this girl for the moment as it could end in a disaster. My advise would be to try and get over her and move on, this may be very hard to do but obviously it wouldn’t end well if you two became a couple.

Romeo Montigue 

When I first set my eyes on my Romeo, I knew it was love at first sight. I started to notice how attractive he was. I couldn’t help but focus on his sparkling, deep blue eyes.  His thin, wispy mosey hair flopped over his forehead shyly trying to hide his identity. His hands were so soft, and gentle as he took mine. Whenever I see him I get butterflies in my stomach as I know he’s the one I want to be with him forever.

Romeo has never been a violent person. Always a lover not a fighter. He would usually write beautiful long poems about his love for me. He is so loyal to his friends and family, and would never hold an argument for long, as he hated fighting with his loved ones. Fighting and killing is never an option for Romeo, unless it is to protect himself or p friends and family. He is always forgiving, and wishing bad things never happened. Romeo stole my heart from the second I lay my eyes on him and if our love was ever parted, he would kill to be with me as whenever we are together, it’s like nothing else matters. All the worries in the world suddenly don’t exist. He is the missing piece to my jigsaw puzzle, and I am to his.

A second with him is worth all the time in the world. My family hatred for the Montigues is equivalent for our love for each other. It is so strong, together, we could break the hatred and make our families forget the past, and come together as one. His manners are impeccable and would give anything to make you smile, it makes his day seeing he can make other people feel special. If only everyone was as caring and kind as my Romeo is. I’m so grateful I met someone as amazing as my Romeo.

Buddies!

Every Friday, Room 22 and Room 5 have buddies. My buddy is called Abigail. She is very sweet and good at spelling. Firstly I test her o her spelling rocket and she usually gets 10/10.
My favourite part of buddy time is when I read a book to her.
Abigail's nick name is Abby so thats what I usually call her. Se is very nice to me and i enjoy going to buddies.(:

The Carbon Cycle

What is the Carbon Cycle?

Did you know we breathe the same air as the dinosaurs did thousands of years ago? Thats because The Carbon Cycle goes round and round and has been for a long time. It will also keep going for years to come. The Carbon Cycle is a very important part of out planet because without it e wouldn't be here today. Carbon can be found anywhere on earth and all living matter.

When plants burn or get chopped down, they release all of the Carbon they had stored during their live. When they begin to rot and break down this is called decomposing. When sea animals die, they float down to the bottom sometimes breaking up on the way down. Once they completely dissolve on the sea bed they eventually sink into the sand. When they decompose, they release carbon into the water.

If plants, animals and humans don't decompose quick enough they can become compacted and over billions of years turn into fossil fuels.

Do you ever wonder what you are breathing in? When humans and animals breathe in, we inhale oxygen. Oxygen is a gas which plants produce to keep us alive. We store carbon inside our bodies and so when we exhale we let out the gas Carbon Dioxide. Carbon Dioxide is what plants and trees take in to survive. This whole process is called respiration or simply breathing.

Photosynthesis is a process which mainly involves plants. It is where plants and trees absorb the Carbon Dioxide from the air and releasing a slight amount of oxygen as they grow. Photosynthesis is a process which happens all over the world, which means plants in the sea go through the same process as plants do on land.

In conclusion, the Carbon Cycle is a major part of our planet and it is keeping us alive. However too much Carbon is bad and contributes to global warming, which is why the increase of deforestation is a great risk to our planet. The climate has changed a lot during the last century. The Carbon Cycle goes round and round and will keep going for the rest of our lives.
